Addressed for now by suppressing UPS Return Service for JPMC and adding a "coming soon" message next to the grayed out service in the list. Closed per JPMC UAT meeting on 6/27/2024

Internally, PB is discussing how to make the Return Label ONLY experience consistent across carriers.

Just tested again generating label. When I generate ONLY return label, the details are wrong. When I generate Delivery and Return, the label is correct.

    Georgi,

Thank you for the clarification please let me know if you have anything to add to my summary and detailed explination below.

In summary UPS return only service and FedEx return only service work inconsistently.

UPS keeps the sender and receiver as entered and process it with the return service.

FedEx Swaps the sender and receiver when processing a transaction with the return service.

Attached are two transactions both with Philip Major as the recipient in the shipping screen. FedEx processed the return service transaction showing Philip as the sender and George Barsi as the recipient. UPS processed the return service transaction with George Barsi as the sender and Philip as the recipient.

Of the two behaviors FedEx's is more intuitive and requires fewer steps for a user to generate a return service label to return a package to them form someone in their address book or hand entered without having to change the sender information.

attaching screenshot and generated label. To my understanding the label has not reverted the sender and recipient details.

Please advise if that is the correct behavior.

    Watching the video.

I see we are starting with a shipment with a service already selected.

I see you go back into the Rates and Services and select the Return Label Service.

I see at 00:11 the choose service button was enabled and you were able to enter a description and click on the choose service button before the service and rates finished updating.

I see that back on the shipping screen the Return Label Service was not listed, and the rate did not reflect the Return Label Service. I see you complete the transaction and get a regular UPS Ground Shipment.

Following that transaction, you run another this time selecting the Return Label Service when you select UPS ground and enter a description. This time the choose service button is not enabled until after the service was added and the rate updated. The transaction was completed with the Return Label Service properly selected, and you got a UPS Ground Return Label Service label.

Georgi, please confirm the issue you are reporting and are looking to be addressed is the enablement of the Choose Service button when re-entering the Rates and Services screen and a service has already been selected.
