1. The client has requested to be able to generate USPS Stamp sheets in a
larger volume than one at a time. Currently, the PSE user must enter a stamp
sheet serial number on the processing screen and select the number of
stamps to be generated as it relates to that one stamp sheet only. The clients
operation requires at times for multiple stamp sheets to be generated, since
many more stamps are needed.
2. The client is requesting an enhancement to the PSE system in order for a
user to be able to process multiple stamps sheets in one process. As an
example, a PSE user may need 100 1oz, 1st class stamps. Currently, they
are only able to produce 25, since each stamp sheet contains only 25 stamp
boxes and they can only process on stamp sheet at a time. The PSE user
would like to indicate the number of stamp sheets needed, without entering
the serial number of each sheet, enter a weight, class of service and any
special services into the processing screen and then have PSE generate the
multiple stamp sheets, all to be printed to the same networked MFD device.
3. The above process may be utilized by multiple PSE users at the same time.
These users may be at one location or multiple locations. Each user would
print to their own MFD device.
It is assumed that the PSE users will have the necessary stamps sheets
available on hand and loaded into the MFD device before they start the
above process.
It is assumed that all stamps will have the same postage value for each
box on a sheet.
